Circle Dancing

Circle Dancing is a mix of traditional community dances from various parts of the world and modern choreographies. We dance to a variety of music - world music, British folk music, classical and modern popular music. We dance in a circle - no partner is needed. All dances are taught before they are danced, and circle dance groups are supportive of beginners. This session offers you a chance to try it - you are very welcome to join us.

Philippa King - Clear Your Energy Blocks

What changes would you like to create within yourself and in your life?

Whether its more freedom to be your true self, create more money and success or experience deeper self love, sometimes the results we want don't show up no matter how hard we try consciously. Sometimes this can leave us feeling stuck and frustrated!

These blocks are usually caused by the inner programming and energetic imprints that we have gathered along our souls journey. Much of these old programmes are outdated and many of these are not even ours, they handed down through family, society, our ancestors, past lifetimes and group consciousness. The great news is that it is easy to access your inner light and reprogram your mind, body and energetic system to be in alignment with being your true self, living your dreams and living your fullest potential.

During this workshop you will learn easy and powerful tools for tapping into your inner wisdom and clearing energetic blocks and stuck emotions to create more ease, flow and alignment in your life. De-clutter your inner computer and upgrade your inner programming to access more of your inner sparkle and well-being.

Nwyfre - A Celtic Reiki

Nwyfre is the concept of 'universal life force' taken from Celtic inspired pagan traditions. As a Reiki Master Teacher and a Master of Celtic Reiki (developed by Martyn Pentecost) I have been reflecting on how Usui's 'original reiki' can be viewed outside of its original Japanese cultural context. Celtic Reiki deals with some interesting Irish symbols and Tree Lore within its teachings.

Usui's Reiki has been taught widely throughout the West and has been given what could be considered a Christian gloss by Mm Takata. Some Reiki Masters and Teachers have been writing in recent years about Reiki possibly losing its focus as a 'spiritual path' (as explored by Usui) and becoming a 'healing modality'. As a spiritual path, there would be, perhaps, a motivation (need) to explore the spiritual traditions which led to the creation of Usui Do (the Usui Method). Nwyfre is based, broadly, on Celtic Spiritual Traditions which may be of interest to those not versed in Tendai Buddhism but feel a connection to this (British/Celtic) culture. This workshop will explore some of these ideas and hopefully enrich personal understandings of both Reiki and Nwyfre.
